Cadaver course

On behalf of the organizers we would like to welcome you to this first international neuromodulation cadaver course on September 19, 2018, preceding the 1 st Joint Congress of the INS European chapters (September 20-22, 2018) at the " state-of-the-art”  anatomy wet lab of the Radboud University Medical Centre.

Participants, both novice as well as experienced, are invited to perform the most frequently used neuromodulation techniques, from basic to advanced, using the materials of different neuromodulation companies under the guidance of a mixed, internationally renowned faculty! This is a unique opportunity getting experience with these techniques for your pain management practice!

Procedures to be performed are: spinal cord stimulation (thoraco-lumbar, cervical) using various equipment and electrodes, dorsal root ganglion stimulation (DRG), peripheral nerve stimulation (PNS) both ultra-sound guided as well as using X-ray, and sphenopalatine stimulation using a neurosurgical approach. Materials from different companies active in the field of neuromodulation will be present.
Also, oral up-to-date presentations will be given on e.g. anatomy, spinal imaging, indications and the place of the various techniques in the pain management algorithm. There will be ample time for discussion with the faculty, exchange ideas with your colleagues concerning  all different aspects of these procedures.

Although we invite you to visit our congress as well, for those who only want to attend the cadaver workshop, we can offer you a one day congress-ticket on Thursday 20th as a BNS member for 150 eu and non-members for 220 eu. Since space at the cadaver course is limited to 50 participants max. this special offer will end at September 1th, or when the number of 50 participants at the cadaver course is reached!

Hope to see you all at this inspiring meeting preceding the 1 st Joint Congress of the INS European Chapters,

On behalf of dr. Erkan Kurt MD, neurosurgeon,
